QUESTIONNAIRE

Is your character willing to have sex and able to give informed consent?
Yes. He looks young, and technically is for an ancient in a Convocation seat, but he's still considered an adult by his society. Definitely over 18 by our standards.

What is the wish your character made? Why did they make it?
"I want to come back."

Note that he didn't specify how, be it via recreating another version of the world like Hythlodaeus, or by reincarnation into the current one. He just wants another chance at living, without the burdens of being an Ascian involved! So long as it does not involve the destruction or reconstitution of the current star, any method is fine with him.

Of course, it must seem an odd ask after having done all he did as an Ascian, but his worldview has changed dramatically after losing his tempering following his death, resembling his old self much more closely now. Even if he can't have Amaurot back, he doesn't desire retribution, nor does he wish to continue his work as an Ascian. What's done is done; it's water under the bridge, at least to him. (You'll never catch him apologizing for it, though.)

How will your character initially react to Decadia's setting?
Well... you know people. Some can't think with anything but their second head, and this has always been true even in ancient times. He's not going to be surprised to see an opulent society based around its residents' sexual exploits; he's seen much stranger and more horrifying. Eulmore springs to mind, for example. He knows how sex works, and doesn't get flustered easily in situations that would require him to perform, so he's going to focus primarily on the contract when it comes down to it, even if he doesn't realize how mechanical he comes off to other people when he tries.

What are you most interested in doing with your character in Decadia?
I want to pull him out of his shell a bit, both with canonmates and cross-canon characters. Elidibus is a reserved person by nature, even though his position demands diplomacy, so it's a hurdle I need to work on him overcoming to get more smut out of him. It'd also be nice if he could bond with others who might have something in common with him -- perhaps the self-sacrifice aspect, or perhaps they're heroes in their own right he can admire for their tenacity... things like that.

Getting him to enjoy sex is a big one, too. At the moment, he's got a very sterile idea of how it works and what draws people to engage in it, though that can and might change depending on what happens. It's very much like he just read a textbook and heard the stories of how it works, but has never actually done it himself to be sure of what the best practices are.

What aspect of sex appeals to your character the most?
While I headcanon Elidibus as demi grey-ace, he's not strictly opposed to having sex. He just... doesn't really get the appeal, at least at first. Which will last until he actually has someone sit him down and show him why people crave it so much, at which point he'll probably realize he likes the rush and the buildup, at least. Physicality is sort of a whatever to him, but it will help if said someone already has an emotional connection with him.

Elidibus is a fairly reserved person who does not give out his trust right away upon meeting a new acquaintance. Even with Erichthonios, for example, with whom he hit it off with rather quickly, it took some time between scenes before they began speaking to one another on a friendly rather than formal level. I think this would extend to sex as well, being that it's such an intimate and vulnerable position; if there's no emotional connection, there's no reason for him to trust the other person, and so it'd be back to the mechanical motions of "do this and this reaction happens, I guess" instead of really enjoying the process.

That said, assuming he does trust his partner, he's not so much opposed to sex as just a little shy about it. Once someone he's comfortable with opens his mind up a little bit, I think he'll be able to branch out better despite the fact he may not always have the luxury of building relationships slowly before engaging with someone else. So it's fair to say his choice in partners will be about trust until he grows more comfortable with the concept of sex with near-strangers. Given the situation, I doubt it'll take too long, though.

What kinks does your character have, known or unknown to them? Why do they have those particular kinks?
He has no idea what his kinks are right now, but I do. :) More than anything, he will come to enjoy pleasing his partner even if he receives nothing in return, because that's the sort of selfless person he is; praise kink springs to mind, either giving or receiving (and receiving would be a big surprise to him if so). If he's in a position where he needs to top or lead the encounter, he might have his partner pleasure themselves for a bit so he can study what works, or perhaps park them in front of a mirror if one is available. He probably prefers to be the more passive partner, in which case he'll be sure to make the other person work for a reaction. All in all, being one half or the other in sex is a role that carries expectations with it, which Elidibus is an expert in studying and fulfilling.
